In just under four months, Lee and the other designers completely transformed each room of the remarkable 10,000 square-foot Mediterranean mansion. Design enthusiasts and novices alike will be inspired by the level of creativity and imagination on display through unexpected wall treatments, beautiful furnishings and an array of bold color.
The space designed by The Lee W. Robinson Company drew inspiration from the whimsical European interpretation of East Asian art to transform the Grand Staircase and Halls into “The Chinoiserie Garden Pavillion.” Elements of nature were lured inside the confounds of the Mediterranean estate with a living moss wall that rises up the winding staircase, spontaneous encounters with exotic bejeweled insects and a show-stoppoing grand pagoda bird cage (hand designed by Lee) suspended from the tented ceiling.
